About this task

This Public-sector services provider serving tax authorities (5,000+ employees) is looking for a senior Treasury & Cash-Flow Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Aggregates bank balances and flags what needs funding.

The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It supplies the public sector, so documentation follows contract rules.

The team sits in Luxembourg. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

  • Compile a daily cash position across eight accounts and flag any balance below the minimum.
  • Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
  • A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
  • A written update every Monday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked

What a week looks like

  • Friday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
  • Wednesday: main working block (2 hours)
  • Monday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

  • On-call availability outside the agreed window
  • Anything that needs a signature in your own name unless the brief says so

How you get paid

  • The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
  • Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
  • You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
  • You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
