About this task

This proptech company in office refurbishment (5,000+ employees) is looking for a senior Treasury & Cash-Flow Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Aggregates bank balances and flags what needs funding.

Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It works in real estate and construction, where project documents change often.

The team sits in Arlington. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).

What you deliver

• Compile a daily cash position across eight accounts and flag any balance below the minimum.
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
• A written update every Friday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked

What a week looks like

• Wednesday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Thursday: main working block (2 hours)
• Friday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
