About this task

This warehousing operator with cross-border freight (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a specialist Data Analyst for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Groups customers by behaviour and value and names the segments.

The work is too small to justify a hire and too important to leave to chance. It moves goods for customers, so the data is operational and updated daily.

The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Arkansas, so this one is for residents there. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.

What you deliver

• Segment 40,000 customers by order frequency and margin and describe five groups with actions.
• One round of edits after the company's review is included
• The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
• A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope

How the work runs

• Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
• Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
• Last day: final version and handover note

Duration: 1 to 2 weeks. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
