About this task
This omnichannel retailer with 120 stores (11–50 employees) is looking for a senior Product Marketing Manager for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 10–20 h a month. Interviews that test positioning and uncover needs.
The same kind of work comes back every month, so the company prefers one person with an hours cap over ad-hoc requests. It is a retailer with stores and an online channel, and the team works to a weekly trading rhythm.
The team sits in Montpellier. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.
What you deliver
- Run 12 customer interviews on the buying process and summarise the themes.
- A month-end summary with hours used against the cap
- A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost
- The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
What a month looks like
- Start of month: the company shares the items and the priorities
- Mid-month: progress check of 15 minutes
- Month end: hours used against the cap, results and open items
Duration: 12 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
