About this task
This Personal-care brand selling in 20 countries (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Product Marketing Manager for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 10–20 h a month. Interviews that test positioning and uncover needs.
A named list of recurring items keeps the month predictable for both sides. It sells consumer goods through retailers, so planning cycles run to a fixed monthly calendar.
The team sits in Denver. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (MT).
What you deliver
- Run 15 customer interviews on the buying process and summarise the themes.
- A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost
- A month-end summary with hours used against the cap
- A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week
What a month looks like
- Start of month: the company shares the items and the priorities
- Mid-month: progress check of 15 minutes
- Month end: hours used against the cap, results and open items
Duration: 12 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
