About this task
This games studio making educational games (5,000+ employees) is looking for a manager UX Researcher for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 12–24 h a month. Interviews that find the real problem.
The company wants one reliable owner for a list of small jobs instead of five different people. It is a games studio with release dates that move the whole calendar.
The company prefers a person who can come to Jyväskylä for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.
What you deliver
- Recruit and interview eight customers on how they do a task today and write up the themes.
- A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost
- A month-end summary with hours used against the cap
- A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week
What a month looks like
- Week 1: intake call and a list of what is due this month
- Weeks 2 and 3: items completed in short sessions
- Week 4: month-end summary and the list for next month
Duration: 8 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
