About this task

This telecom operator serving businesses (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a senior Account Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Regular check-ins that keep customers happy and find expansion.

The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It is a telecom company, with large datasets and long-running programmes.

The team sits in Paris. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start.

What you deliver

• Run quarterly check-ins with 25 accounts and log what each customer needs next.
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
• A written update every Monday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends

What a week looks like

• Thursday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
• Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
• Monday: update sent before the company's end of day

Duration: 6 months, then month by month. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
