About this task
This streaming and audio company (51–200 employees) is looking for a senior Internal Audit & SOX Support for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–3 h a week. Performs tests of operating effectiveness and records evidence.
The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It publishes content on a schedule, so editorial deadlines are fixed.
The work is fully remote. Any location in United States works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (MT).
What you deliver
- Test 30 key controls for Q3 with samples, evidence references and exceptions logged in AuditBoard.
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- A written update every Monday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
What a week looks like
- Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
- Friday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
- Monday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread
Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
