About this task
This savings and loan group serving farmers and food producers (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a senior Internal Audit & SOX Support for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–3 h a week. Performs tests of operating effectiveness and records evidence.
The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It is a regulated bank; the work is documented and reviewed before anything is signed off.
The team sits in New York City. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. The company prefers early-morning hours, before a normal working day starts. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).

- Tuesday: update sent before the company's end of day
Duration: 6 months, then month by month. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
