About this task

This property developer in logistics warehouses (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a manager Internal Audit & SOX Support for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–3 h a week. Performs tests of operating effectiveness and records evidence.

The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It works in real estate and construction, where project documents change often.

The team sits in Copenhagen. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

• Test 25 key controls for Q3 with samples, evidence references and exceptions logged in AuditBoard.
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
• A written update every Wednesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked

What a week looks like

• Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
• Tuesday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
• Wednesday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread

Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
