Control Description Review

About this task

This health insurer covering fleets and logistics (5,000+ employees) is looking for a senior AI Evaluator: Compliance for a rating and review programme for AI output in your own field, 3–8 h a week. Judges whether AI-written control descriptions are specific enough to test.

Ratings are checked against a written rubric, and your notes go back to the team that builds the product. It is an insurer, so accuracy and an audit trail come before speed.

The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in New Mexico, so this one is for residents there.

What you deliver

• Review 30 AI-written control descriptions for clear owner, frequency and evidence.
• Short calibration notes after the first batch, so your ratings match the guidelines
• A weekly count of items reviewed, confirmed by the programme lead
• Flags for answers that are unsafe, off-topic or wrong in your field

What a week looks like

• Tuesday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
• Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
• Thursday: update sent before the company's end of day

Duration: Weekly batches for 12 weeks, renewed every four weeks. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
