About this task

This publishing house in sport (5,000+ employees) is looking for a manager Social Media Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 4–10 h a week. Plans and publishes posts across channels.

The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It publishes content on a schedule, so editorial deadlines are fixed.

The company prefers a person who can come to Rennes for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. The company prefers early-morning hours, before a normal working day starts.

What you deliver

• Schedule 12 posts a week across LinkedIn, Instagram and X from an approved monthly plan.
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
• A written update every Friday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked

What a week looks like

• Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
• Wednesday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
• Friday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread

Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
