About this task
This Growth-stage workflow automation company for construction firms (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a specialist Compliance Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–2 h a week. Tracks filings, certifications and reviews.
The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. The company sells subscription software, so deadlines follow release and billing cycles.
The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Maryland, so this one is for residents there. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).
What you deliver
- Maintain a calendar of 40 compliance deadlines with owners and reminders.
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
- A written update every Thursday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
What a week looks like
- Tuesday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
- Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
- Thursday: update sent before the company's end of day
Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
