About this task

This online travel company in short-term rentals (11–50 employees) is looking for a senior AI Evaluator: Compliance for a rating and review programme for AI output in your own field, 5–12 h a week. Rates AI answers on regulatory and policy questions.

The programme needs subject-matter experts who can tell a good answer from a plausible one in their own field. It works in travel and hospitality, where demand is seasonal.

The work is fully remote. Any location in Canada works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day.

What you deliver

• Rate 40 AI answers on AML, data protection and sanctions with a note on the rule cited.
• Flags for answers that are unsafe, off-topic or wrong in your field
• Short calibration notes after the first batch, so your ratings match the guidelines
• A weekly count of items reviewed, confirmed by the programme lead

What a week looks like

• Thursday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
• Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
• Monday: update sent before the company's end of day

Duration: Weekly batches for 12 weeks, renewed every four weeks. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in CAD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
