About this task
This insurtech company for professional liability (51–200 employees) is looking for a manager Pricing & Competitive Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–4 h a week. Weekly note on competitor changes that matter to sales.
The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It is an insurer, so accuracy and an audit trail come before speed.
The company prefers a person who can come to St. John for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (AT).
What you deliver
- Send a weekly digest of competitor price, product and hiring changes with a take on each.
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- A written update every Monday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
What a week looks like
- Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
- Tuesday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
- Monday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread
Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
