About this task

This property and casualty insurer for professional liability (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Pricing & Competitive Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–4 h a week. Weekly note on competitor changes that matter to sales.

The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It is an insurer, so accuracy and an audit trail come before speed.

The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in South Carolina, so this one is for residents there. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start.

What you deliver

  • Send a weekly digest of competitor price, product and hiring changes with a take on each.
  • A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
  • Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
  • A written update every Tuesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked

What a week looks like

  • Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
  • Friday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
  • Tuesday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread

Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
