About this task

This Growth-stage web3 infrastructure company for payments (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a manager Pricing & Competitive Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–4 h a week. Weekly note on competitor changes that matter to sales.

The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It works in digital assets, where compliance and record keeping are a daily topic.

The team sits in Burbank. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (PT).

What you deliver

  • Send a weekly digest of competitor price, product and hiring changes with a take on each.
  • A written update every Thursday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
  • A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
  • Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day

What a week looks like

  • Tuesday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
  • Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
  • Thursday: update sent before the company's end of day

Duration: 6 months, then month by month. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
