About this task
This Food-supply cooperative in fruit and vegetables (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a director Product Marketing Manager for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 8–16 h a month. Concise sales notes on each competitor.
The same kind of work comes back every month, so the company prefers one person with an hours cap over ad-hoc requests. It is an agri-business, so the calendar follows the growing season.
The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Georgia, so this one is for residents there. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).
What you deliver
- Write battlecards for six competitors with strengths, weaknesses, landmines and responses.
- A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost
- The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
- A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week
What a month looks like
- Start of month: the company shares the items and the priorities
- Mid-month: progress check of 15 minutes
- Month end: hours used against the cap, results and open items
Duration: 12 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
