About this task

This Series C clinical data company for mental health (201–500 employees) is looking for a manager AI Evaluator: HR for a rating and review programme for AI output in your own field, 3–8 h a week. Verifies AI answers on pay bands, equity and benefits.

The programme needs subject-matter experts who can tell a good answer from a plausible one in their own field. It works in healthcare, so patient data is never part of the task and privacy rules are strict.

The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Nova Scotia, so this one is for residents there.

What you deliver

• Check 25 AI answers on salary benchmarking and equity vesting against provided data.
• Short calibration notes after the first batch, so your ratings match the guidelines
• A weekly count of items reviewed, confirmed by the programme lead
• Flags for answers that are unsafe, off-topic or wrong in your field

What a week looks like

• Thursday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Friday: main working block (3 hours)
• Monday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: Weekly batches for 6 weeks, renewed every four weeks. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in CAD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
