About this task

This construction group (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Social Media Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–8 h a week. Replies to comments and messages in the brand's voice.

The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It works in real estate and construction, where project documents change often.

The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Texas, so this one is for residents there. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CT).

What you deliver

• Respond to comments and direct messages daily within four working hours.
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
• A written update every Wednesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day

What a week looks like

• Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
• Tuesday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
• Wednesday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread

Duration: 6 months, then month by month. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
