About this task

This Series C telehealth provider for dental practices (201–500 employees) is looking for a specialist Social Media Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–8 h a week. Replies to comments and messages in the brand's voice.

The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It works in healthcare, so patient data is never part of the task and privacy rules are strict.

The team sits in Santa Maria. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (PT).

What you deliver

• Respond to comments and direct messages daily within four working hours.
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
• A written update every Thursday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call

What a week looks like

• Monday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Wednesday: main working block (3 hours)
• Thursday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.

• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
