About this task

This AI research company for drug discovery (5,000+ employees) is looking for a senior Social Media Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–8 h a week. Replies to comments and messages in the brand's voice.

The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It builds AI products and needs human experts to check what the models produce.

The team sits in Chilliwack. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (PT).

What you deliver

• Respond to comments and direct messages daily within four working hours.
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call

What a week looks like

• Monday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Thursday: main working block (3 hours)
• Tuesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.

• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
