About this task
This Real-estate services firm in commercial property (201–500 employees) is looking for a manager Month-End Close Accountant for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Turns the close into a dated checklist with owners and reminders.
It is a self-contained job: scope, checklist and price are agreed before you start. It works in real estate and construction, where project documents change often.
The team sits in Lawton. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.
What you deliver
- Convert a 60-step close process into a dated checklist with owners, dependencies and a status board.
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
- A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
How the work runs
- Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
- Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
- Last day: final version and handover note
Duration: about 10 working days. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
