About this task

This packaging manufacturer making industrial pumps (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a manager AI Evaluator: Marketing for a rating and review programme for AI output in your own field, 4–8 h a week. Finds unsupported or risky claims in AI marketing text.

The programme needs subject-matter experts who can tell a good answer from a plausible one in their own field. It manufactures physical products, and the office team works to month-end and plant schedules.

The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in California, so this one is for residents there.

What you deliver

• Review 40 AI product descriptions for unsupported claims, such as superlatives and health or earnings claims.
• Ratings entered in the client's tool against the written rubric, with a one-line reason each
• Flags for answers that are unsafe, off-topic or wrong in your field
• Short calibration notes after the first batch, so your ratings match the guidelines

What a week looks like

• Monday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Tuesday: main working block (3 hours)
• Wednesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: Weekly batches for 12 weeks, renewed every four weeks. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
