About this task
This Growth-stage language-learning company for K-12 schools (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a manager Fractional Controller for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Rationalises accounts and mappings so reports mean what they say.
The work is too small to justify a hire and too important to leave to chance. It works in education, with a calendar built around terms and enrolment peaks.
The work is fully remote and open to anyone living in an EU country; the team itself works from Spain. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.
What you deliver
- Reduce a 340-account chart to a structure the board package can use, with a mapping table and a migration plan.
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
How the work runs
- Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
- Days 2 to 7: the work, with questions answered the same day
- Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough
Duration: 1 to 2 weeks. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
