About this task
This hotel group with city hotels (5,000+ employees) is looking for a senior Bookkeeper for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 12–30 h a month. Brings late books up to date and ready for the accountant.
The same kind of work comes back every month, so the company prefers one person with an hours cap over ad-hoc requests. It works in travel and hospitality, where demand is seasonal.
The team sits in Sosnowiec. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.
What you deliver
- Clean up six months of unposted transactions for a retail LLC and deliver reconciled accounts and a trial balance.
- The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
- A month-end summary with hours used against the cap
- A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost
What a month looks like
- Start of month: the company shares the items and the priorities
- Mid-month: progress check of 15 minutes
- Month end: hours used against the cap, results and open items
Duration: 8 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
