About this task

This payroll and HR services provider for hourly workers (51–200 employees) is looking for a specialist Bookkeeper for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 12–30 h a month. Brings late books up to date and ready for the accountant.

The company wants one reliable owner for a list of small jobs instead of five different people. It works in staffing and HR technology, and the team is used to external specialists.

The work is fully remote and open to anyone living in an EU country; the team itself works from Netherlands. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.

What you deliver

  • Clean up six months of unposted transactions for a retail LLC and deliver reconciled accounts and a trial balance.
  • A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost
  • A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week
  • The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result

What a month looks like

  • Start of month: the company shares the items and the priorities
  • Mid-month: progress check of 15 minutes
  • Month end: hours used against the cap, results and open items

Duration: 6 months, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
