About this task
This streaming and audio company (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a senior Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Matches incoming payments to open invoices.
The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It publishes content on a schedule, so editorial deadlines are fixed.
The team sits in Bradford. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.
What you deliver
- Apply the week's receipts to invoices, resolve short payments and post unapplied cash to a holding account.
- A written update every Monday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
What a week looks like
- Tuesday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
- Thursday: main working block (2 hours)
- Monday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open
Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
