About this task

This Series B direct-to-consumer brand for refurbished electronics (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Technical Sourcer for an ongoing part-time engagement of 6–12 h a week. Builds a shortlist of qualified engineers for open roles.

The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It sells online, so volumes move with promotions and the calendar matters.

The team sits in Vantaa. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (EET).

What you deliver

• Source 30 qualified backend engineers a week for two open roles and log them in the ATS.
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends

What a week looks like

• Friday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Tuesday: main working block (4 hours)
• Monday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
