About this task

This household products maker selling in 20 countries (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a specialist Technical Sourcer for an ongoing part-time engagement of 6–12 h a week. Builds a shortlist of qualified engineers for open roles.

Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It sells consumer goods through retailers, so planning cycles run to a fixed monthly calendar.

The work is fully remote and open to anyone living in an EU country; the team itself works from Germany. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

  • Source 30 qualified backend engineers a week for two open roles and log them in the ATS.
  • Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
  • A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
  • Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day

What a week looks like

  • Thursday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
  • Tuesday: main working block (4 hours)
  • Wednesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.

  • Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
  • You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
  • You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
