About this task
This Clinical-stage biotech in dermatology (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a manager Tax Preparation Support for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Trial balance mapping and schedules for a partnership or corporate return.
The work is too small to justify a hire and too important to leave to chance. It works in life sciences, where documents are versioned and reviewed in a fixed order.
The work is fully remote and open to anyone living in an EU country; the team itself works from Germany. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.
What you deliver
- Map a trial balance to a Form 1065 workpaper set and prepare the M-1 and M-2 schedules.
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
- A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
How the work runs
- Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
- Days 2 to 6: the work, with questions answered the same day
- Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough
Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
