About this task
This connectivity provider in fibre broadband (5,000+ employees) is looking for a manager Business Analyst for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Costs, benefits and risks for a proposed change.
The work is too small to justify a hire and too important to leave to chance. It is a telecom company, with large datasets and long-running programmes.
The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in New York, so this one is for residents there. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.
What you deliver
- Prepare the business case for automating invoice entry with a three-year cost and benefit model.
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
- A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
How the work runs
- Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
- Days 2 to 8: the work, with questions answered the same day
- Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough
Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
