About this task
This analytics software company for law firms (5,000+ employees) is looking for a senior Financial Model Reviewer for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Documents how a model works so someone else can run it.
The work is too small to justify a hire and too important to leave to chance. The company sells subscription software, so deadlines follow release and billing cycles.
The team sits in Hamburg. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.
What you deliver
- Write a 6-page model guide with a map of inputs, calculations and checks for a departing analyst's budget file.
- A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
How the work runs
- Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
- Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
- Last day: final version and handover note
Duration: about 10 working days. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
