About this task
This lending platform (5,000+ employees) is looking for a director Financial Model Reviewer for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Documents how a model works so someone else can run it.
It is a self-contained job: scope, checklist and price are agreed before you start. It operates in regulated payments and lending, so a written trail for every decision matters.
The work is fully remote. Any location in Canada works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.
What you deliver
- Write a 6-page model guide with a map of inputs, calculations and checks for a departing analyst's budget file.
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
How the work runs
- Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
- Days 2 to 6: the work, with questions answered the same day
- Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough
Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
