About this task
This savings and loan group serving professional firms (51–200 employees) is looking for a director Fractional CFO for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Monthly or quarterly financial pack for directors: results, cash, KPIs and a short narrative.
The work is too small to justify a hire and too important to leave to chance. It is a regulated bank; the work is documented and reviewed before anything is signed off.
The work is fully remote. Any location in United Kingdom works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.
What you deliver
- Build the Q3 board pack from the trial balance: P&L against budget, cash bridge, runway, and three bullet commentary points per slide.
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
How the work runs
- Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
- Days 2 to 6: the work, with questions answered the same day
- Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough
Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
