About this task
This packaging manufacturer making food packaging (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Payroll Specialist for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Collects changes, runs the payroll and checks the register.
Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It manufactures physical products, and the office team works to month-end and plant schedules.
The team sits in Naples. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. The company prefers early-morning hours, before a normal working day starts. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).
What you deliver
- Run the bi-weekly payroll for 50 employees, compare to the prior run and resolve variances above 5%.
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
What a week looks like
- Wednesday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
- Tuesday: main working block (2 hours)
- Monday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open
Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
