About this task
This government IT contractor (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a manager Payroll Specialist for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Collects changes, runs the payroll and checks the register.
The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It supplies the public sector, so documentation follows contract rules.

- Friday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
- Tuesday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread
