About this task

This electronics manufacturer (51–200 employees) is looking for a manager Payroll Specialist for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Collects changes, runs the payroll and checks the register.

The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It manufactures physical products, and the office team works to month-end and plant schedules.

The work is fully remote and open to anyone living in an EU country; the team itself works from Estonia. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (EET).

What you deliver

  • Run the bi-weekly payroll for 50 employees, compare to the prior run and resolve variances above 5%.
  • A written update every Thursday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
  • Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
  • A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends

What a week looks like

  • Tuesday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
  • Friday: main working block (2 hours)
  • Thursday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
