About this task
This Series A mobile games company (51–200 employees) is looking for a senior Payroll Specialist for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Collects changes, runs the payroll and checks the register.
The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It is a games studio with release dates that move the whole calendar.
The company prefers a person who can come to Chemnitz for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).
What you deliver
- Run the bi-weekly payroll for 120 employees, compare to the prior run and resolve variances above 5%.
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- A written update every Wednesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
What a week looks like
- Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
- Friday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
- Wednesday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread
Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
