About this task
This electronics manufacturer (51–200 employees) is looking for a manager Internal Audit & SOX Support for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Reviews workpapers for completeness and conclusions.
The work is too small to justify a hire and too important to leave to chance. It manufactures physical products, and the office team works to month-end and plant schedules.
The team sits in London. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (UK time).
What you deliver
- Review 12 audit workpapers for evidence and conclusions and send review points to the auditors.
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
- A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
How the work runs
- Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
- Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
- Last day: final version and handover note
Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
