About this task
This Food-supply cooperative (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a director Fractional Controller for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 12–24 h a month. The schedules and support an auditor requests, ready before fieldwork starts.
A named list of recurring items keeps the month predictable for both sides. It is an agri-business, so the calendar follows the growing season.
The company prefers a person who can come to Wolverhampton for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start.
What you deliver
- Prepare the PBC list for a year-end audit: fixed assets, accruals, debt, equity and revenue schedules.
- A month-end summary with hours used against the cap
- A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week
- The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
What a month looks like
- Week 1: intake call and a list of what is due this month
- Weeks 2 and 3: items completed in short sessions
- Week 4: month-end summary and the list for next month
Duration: 12 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
