About this task
This international nonprofit in climate (201–500 employees) is looking for a director Fractional Controller for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 12–24 h a month. The schedules and support an auditor requests, ready before fieldwork starts.
A named list of recurring items keeps the month predictable for both sides. It is a nonprofit, so budgets are tight and grant reporting dates are fixed.
The work is fully remote. Any location in Greece works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (EET).
What you deliver
- Prepare the PBC list for a year-end audit: fixed assets, accruals, debt, equity and revenue schedules.
- The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
- A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost
- A month-end summary with hours used against the cap
What a month looks like
- Start of month: the company shares the items and the priorities
- Mid-month: progress check of 15 minutes
- Month end: hours used against the cap, results and open items
Duration: 12 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
