About this task
This Machine-learning platform for legal research (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a senior Contract Recruiter for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–2 h a week. Coordinates external recruiters and checks fees and quality.
Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It builds AI products and needs human experts to check what the models produce.
The team sits in Los Angeles. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (PT).
What you deliver
- Manage three agencies on a retained search, review submissions and track fees.
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A written update every Tuesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
What a week looks like
- Wednesday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
- Thursday: main working block (1 hours)
- Tuesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open
Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
