About this task
This savings and loan group serving small businesses (201–500 employees) is looking for a manager Month-End Close Accountant for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–2 h a week. Prepares and posts accrual and prepaid entries with support.
The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It is a regulated bank; the work is documented and reviewed before anything is signed off.
The company prefers a person who can come to New York City for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).
