About this task
This management consulting firm for private equity (51–200 employees) is looking for a senior Account Manager for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 10–20 h a month. A plan for each top account: people, goals, risks, upsell.
The same kind of work comes back every month, so the company prefers one person with an hours cap over ad-hoc requests. It is a consulting firm, so client deadlines set the pace and handover notes are expected.
The company prefers a person who can come to Norwich for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (UK time).
What you deliver
- Write account plans for 12 strategic accounts, with stakeholder maps and a 12-month growth plan.
- A month-end summary with hours used against the cap
- A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost
- The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
What a month looks like
- Start of month: the company shares the items and the priorities
- Mid-month: progress check of 15 minutes
- Month end: hours used against the cap, results and open items
Duration: 12 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
