13-Week Cash Flow Forecast

About this task

This insurtech company covering small businesses (51–200 employees) is looking for a manager Treasury & Cash-Flow Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Weekly forecast of receipts and payments with variance to actual.

The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It is an insurer, so accuracy and an audit trail come before speed.

The work is fully remote. Any location in Czechia works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

• Update the 13-week cash forecast every Monday and report last week's variance and the main drivers.
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
• A written update every Thursday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call

What a week looks like

• Tuesday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Wednesday: main working block (2 hours)
• Thursday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
