About this task
This Series A direct-to-consumer brand for refurbished electronics (51–200 employees) is looking for a manager Treasury & Cash-Flow Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Weekly forecast of receipts and payments with variance to actual.
The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It sells online, so volumes move with promotions and the calendar matters.
The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in British Columbia, so this one is for residents there. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start.
What you deliver
- Update the 13-week cash forecast every Monday and report last week's variance and the main drivers.
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A written update every Thursday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
What a week looks like
- Friday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
- Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
- Thursday: update sent before the company's end of day
Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
