Questions ## 01 Our structure and business# Deftridge, Inc. and Deftridge Ltd operate an online recruiting platform that introduces independent professionals to companies for part-time work, mainly in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and the European Union. We have a small direct workforce and a limited supply chain of software, hosting and payment providers. ## 02 Risk and due diligence# The main risks in our business are in our suppliers and in work arranged between professionals and companies. Professionals are adults who choose their own tasks, set their own rate and are paid the full agreed rate; we verify identity and right to work where the law requires it. We review new suppliers for labour practices and expect them to comply with applicable law. ## 03 Training and reporting# Recruiters are trained to recognise signs of coercion and exploitation. Anyone, including professionals, companies and suppliers, can report a concern in confidence to [legal@deftridge.com](mailto:legal@deftridge.com).
