## About this task

This connectivity provider serving businesses (201–500 employees) is looking for a specialist Business Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Writes and refines stories so engineers can start.

The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It is a telecom company, with large datasets and long-running programmes.

The team sits in Blackpool. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.

## What you deliver

- Refine 20 backlog stories each week with acceptance criteria and open questions listed.

- A written update every Monday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked

- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day

- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends

## What a week looks like

- Thursday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities

- Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours

- Monday: update sent before the company's end of day

**Duration:** 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
