## About this task

This Growth-stage generative-AI company for code (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a specialist Business Analyst for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Test scenarios and a sign-off route for a new system or change.

A fresh pair of experienced eyes is needed, and the result is a document or file the team can use straight away. It builds AI products and needs human experts to check what the models produce.

The work is fully remote. Any location in United States works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).

## What you deliver

- Write 60 UAT scenarios for the new CRM workflows, run them with business users and log defects.

- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed

- One round of edits after the company's review is included

- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope

## How the work runs

- Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared

- Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback

- Last day: final version and handover note

**Duration:** 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.

## Tools

Jira Excel

## Who fits

- 2-5 years of hands-on work as a Business Analyst, or the equivalent mix of roles

- Comfortable working in Jira and Excel

- Your own work history stays private; the company sees a first name, your field and a rate

### Nice to have

- A habit of asking one clarifying question early rather than five late

## Not included

- Travel or work at a fixed location

- Work outside the scope written in the brief; extra items are quoted separately

- Managing other contractors or employees

## How you get paid

- The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.

- Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.

- You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.

- You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
